“Rock Walk”
As my “Rock Walk” continues to grow around my 2.2 acre property here in the Moapa Valley, NV, I have decided to make a page dedicated to just that….the growing of the Earth Work snaking around the mesa. It has become quite the laborious task of finding, gathering, collecting, carrying, and then placement of the rocks. All elements have been found on my property making it unique to its surroundings and leaving the neighbors wonder, who is this obsessive artist that moved in next door?One neighbor has offered a few other locations to find bigger rocks if needed. Weighing 117 pounds myself, I do have my limits on what I can lift and carry.
Honey Mesquite trees can grow up to 20 feet tall, have a tap root that can search for water 200 feet into the ground, have been used by many cultures, peoples and animals since BEFORE the ice age. I will continue to add tidbits of random knowledge I am learning along the way of this process. The seed pods have been to make bread??!!

20 Honey Mesquite Trees, grown from seeds, planted with LOVE AND HOPE along the “Rock Walk” on the artists Moapa Mesa.The Honey Mesquite trees line the front of acre of the property. Wanted to make sure they were in a straight line during the transplanting process. Currently 10 done. 10 more to go!
