Took my friend Amy on her last day road trip before she had to return to PA. My neighbor is the zoologist at the Camel Safari, in Bunkerville, NV. She volunteers her time to help care for the animals. She is retired and is currently enjoying her free time and exploring her creative inspirations in the arts. I also house sit for them when they are out enjoying a break from the desert heat. Jeannie is an AMAZING TALENT and has OUTSTANDING KNOWLEDGE of all the critters at the safari. There was so much information to absorb at one time, that she has promised to take me back in the fall when the camel have their fluffy fur.
Hope you all have been doing well. I miss blogging and keeping up with what you have been up to on your sites.
Life is starting to find a new normal as I am starting my lesson planning for next school year with the other 2 Charter School art teachers. It is AWESOME to have a supportive team to work with.
