Finishing a sculpture is a Major accomplishment for the artist creating it. The questions and curiostiy that surrounds a piece of work in the creating phase drives me on to continue with my vision, thoughts and creativity.
Finished! Completed! SUPER EXCITED to show my FIRST sculpture in over 20 years in a public gallery!!!! Oh WAIT! What??? Done? OH SNAP! Time to make a new piece? Wonder what the focus of the new one will be? The Journey Continues…..
Since joining WordPress a few months ago, I was unaware of how few artists are creating sculptures, and how many photographers are taking photos of sculptures for their photo challenges. Interesting to me joining the professional art world. Maybe some day my sculptures will also be the focus of someone else camera lenses than my own!
